If need be I will probably just do a hard reset on everything with a fresh install of macOS, though I'd rather not. So I tried enabling the root user, logging in as it, and when i try to change the password, it again doesn't work and now simply says Contact your system administrator for help. Your system administrator may not allow you to change your password or there was some other problem with your password. However reseting it normally through User & Groups menu throws me an error message stating: It is an admin account, and the password is known to me. But now I am looking to change the password on my main, and only user account.
